Dallas Photographers: Kevin Brown
No doubt, there are a lot of photographers in Dallas. But one is set apart from the rest and it's because of his 30+ years of experience and photo genre-crossing ability that makes Dallas photographer Kevin Brown one of the most sought-after photographers around.
Let's say there's a company that makes bluetooth speakers needing some photos. They need industrial photography of their manufacturing process, environmental portraits of their executive leadership team, architectural interiors of their offices, and lifestyle images of their speakers in use on a family picnic. That's four different types of photography - industrial, portrait, architectural, and lifestyle - on one project. Not all photographers have the experience and knowledge to take on such diverse requirements. Dallas photographer Kevin Brown does.
Browse the galleries at this website and you'll see that Kevin Brown is one of the most versatile photographers in Dallas. Many photographers choose one discipline to concentrate on. Nothing wrong with that. Many successful photographers follow this approach and are extremely talented at what they do. Kevin Brown likes the variety of assignments and, at the risk of being a jack of all trades and master of none, a look thru his image gallery speaks for itself; he can take on various types of photography and deliver high quality images to clients needing that versatility from a single source.
There are a few exceptions: Kevin Brown does not do any work for individual consumers. That's right. No families, babies, seniors, etc. And, he's made a very conscious decision to not offer drone or video services. Those fall outside the realm of traditional still photography and he prefers to keep his skills honed as a photographer, not a drone pilot or videographer. He can refer you to creatives that offer those services.
Consider Dallas photographer Kevin Brown's photographic resumè:
• His first job was as a photographer for a small newspaper at age 15
• He's done work for almost 1,000 unique clients
• His work has been published worldwide
• He's performed hundreds, if not thousands, of shoots
• He shoots upwards of 1,000 individual headshots each year
And...
• Kevin Brown has been the official photographer for The State Fair of Texas since 2003
• His 1985 photo of a group of fireman posing in front of a burning house was featured on NBC's "Late Night with David Letterman"
• One of his photos was used as a clue on the TV show Jeopardy!
A word from Kevin:
Thank you for visiting my website; I appreciate it.
I hope you'll take some time to browse the galleries at the site. There's a lot to see here and I hope you'll enjoy the images. Of particular interest to me are the galleries under the "Projects" heading. These are some personal projects that I really enjoyed working on.
I started shooting photos when I was pretty young. I was probably 5 or 6 when I started 'taking photos.' I had a darkroom at age 10. By 15 I was shooting and writing for a local small town newspaper. Fast forward to today and I still love to shoot photos. I like the variety of photo assignments and different styles of photography that my clients need.
I love meeting and photographing people.
But mostly I just love to work. I'm 57 now and I've been at this while, but my passion for it is as strong as it ever was. I hope I'll have an opportunity to shoot for you.
Thanks....
Kevin Brown
